J. Edgar Hoover was the Lord of the FBI who went out of his way to use government apparatchik to spy, harass and arrange for the assassinations of many protestors, progressive agents of change, world leaders, gay people and black people. Hoover was a self-hating queen with power that paid cruelty forward.
